Malayalam literature legend name V. Madhusoodanan Nair 84 is now no more. The person who had won so many literary awards in his career from Sahitya Akademi Award to the annual award for poetry in 1993. He is best known for his poem name Naranathu Bhranthan published in 1992. His popularity in Kerala has no match, born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Very few know that he started his career as a Journalist in Kumkumam magazine. After which his career takes new turns and he later becomes head of the Department of Malayalam. He married S. Malathi Devi and blessed with a son and a couple of daughters. Kunju award was one of the first awards from which he gets this direction to write more. Having good command in different languages like Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Sanskrit. He is not only known for his best legendary poems but also for his non-fictional books like Eliotum Richardsum. CM of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan also shows his condolence at the demise of the legendary poet .

He was undergoing treatment for age-related ailments at a private hospital. He was born to P N Madhava Pillai, a teacher, and G Parvathy on March 25, 1936, at Neelamperoor village in Kuttanad.
